Ah yes, Daisy Kahns nasty comment about how American Islamophobia is just like anti-semitism! How easily that meme rolled off her tongue! And why not?If the Islamists will not shrink from comparing Israelis to the Nazis a hideously obscene comparison if there ever was onewhy shouldnt they play that card with Americans?

Dont worry, your advice was certainly not unsolicited! I am thankful for the info regarding online classes. I am actually enrolled in one right now, a one-year accounting certificate. My books are on the way and I am excited to get started! If I hadnt heard about it before, I would have definitely considered it now. :-)

The Daily Republic has not provided a well-publicized means of obtaining the source code. So when you say that you have not pushed all of our code (about 30 separate projects) to WordPress SVN or GitHub yet, that means (by definition) that this is not open source software.

Gatesy- I loved this line in your recap: ‘Live together, die alone' was always Jack's motto. Sawyer's? ‘Every man for himself'. I think the remaining four Losties (wow- it has really come down to this!) are going to have to follow Jacks motto if they are to achieve any final and lasting victory against the Man in Black.

We have never listened to old radio shows. But we like old movies and tv shows so we would probably enjoy them. Mom has never listened to an audio book either. We think she should order DOI to see if Chets voice sounds like it does in her head.

Susan, I somehow missed this until now. Thank you for your prayers and precious words. I have lately been wondering if I am depressed. I think actually I am to some degree but when I think of the Lord right in it with me, somehow it is not so bad. This morning I was on the bus to work and I though is this what it means to share in His sufferings. I dont want to be foolish and get myself in trouble but I think He will be with me.

Thanks! I definitely appreciate what you just said about the Seven Swords being from the Golden Age of Narnia. Lewis might have, himself, found that to be an intriguing storyline addition. You are correct in that Lewis himself kept making changes to things as he went along. In fact, it would have been better had he written them in the same way that Tolkien wrote Lord of the Rings. Tolkien completed the entire work and then released the book in three parts. Lewis Narnia might have benefited from the same careful planning.

But there comes a point when the end doesnt justify the means. Because if the best dont win, what have we achieved? It means an inferior product wins out at the end of the day. And that cant be good for humanity, whichever way you look at it.
